THE TRANSFER BUS AND DISCOVERY BUS START IN SUMMER 2022!
Transfer bus
Travel climate-smart – take the bus to and from Astrid Lindgren’s World every day from 20 June to 13 August. There are bus stops located outside the accommodation sites and in central Vimmerby; see timetable. You’ll be dropped off just in time for opening directly outside the entrance to the park and picked up from the same stop when the park closes for the day.
Please note that there is only one bus operating on this route so be sure to check the departure times. Only return tickets are available. You cannot buy tickets on board. Seating is limited; when seats are full, remaining passengers may stand on the bus.
This is a pilot route for 2022. We hope that it will be a success so we can develop it for future seasons.
Discovery bus
Take the bus to a number of selected destinations in the surrounding area.
For summer 2022, we’re able to offer you climate-smart travel to a number of exciting destinations around Vimmerby. Choose a destination to get off at and check the timetable for departures. Please note that there is only one bus operating on this route so you will not be able to get off at more than one stop and you must keep track of the departure time for your stop. Any entrance tickets for your chosen destination must be purchased separately.
If you’d rather stay on the bus for the entire route, it’s a great way to experience the Småland countryside. You can read about the destinations in a tourist brochure/magazine.
The bus will operate on Tuesdays and Fridays from 20 June to 13 August 2022. Limited number of places. You cannot buy tickets on board.
